Job Description Workday Studio & Manual Testing Consultant

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Workday Studio & Manual Testing Consultant to support the design, development, and validation of Workday integrations. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise with Workday Studio, experience testing integrations and business processes, and the ability to collaborate with functional and technical teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain complex integrations using Workday Studio .
• Conduct manual testing for integrations, reports, and end-to-end Workday processes.
• Analyze business and functional requirements to define technical integration specifications.
• Participate in all phases of the SDLC including requirement gathering, development, testing, deployment, and support.
• Perform impact analysis, defect tracking, and root cause identification for integration issues.
• Work closely with Workday functional teams, HR stakeholders, and external partners.
• Validate integration outputs, transformation logic, and data accuracy.
• Document technical designs, test cases, system behaviors, and deployment steps.
• Support production releases, regression testing, and ongoing maintenance.
• Provide expert insights and recommendations for improving integration quality and system performance.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience with Workday Studio integrations.
• Expertise in manual testing of integrations, business processes, and Workday modules.
• Knowledge of Workday integration technologies (EIB, Core Connectors, REST/SOAP APIs).
• Strong understanding of data mapping, transformation logic, and error handling.
• Good knowledge of Workday HCM data structures and security.
• Ability to create test plans, test cases, and defect logs.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Good-to-Have Skills

• Experience with Workday Reporting (Advanced, Matrix, Composite).
• Exposure to Workday Payroll, Time Tracking, or Benefits integrations.
• Familiarity with automation testing tools (if applicable).
• Workday certification in Integrations or Studio.

Education & Experience

• Minimum 510 years of Workday integration experience .
• Bachelors degree or 15 years of full-time education .
