As a Workday Student Functional Consultant, you will be responsible for providing expert guidance and implementation support for Workday Student solutions, specifically tailored to U.S. higher education institutions. Your responsibilities will encompass various areas, including Student Core, Academic Foundation, Academic Advising, Student Records, Student Financials, Student Recruitment, Financial Aid etc. You will work closely with clients to understand their academic and administrative processes, configure Workday Student to meet their needs, and ensure a seamless deployment and integration.

While activities vary based on project size/scope and individual skill-sets and strengths, the Associate can expect to spend their time follows: 80% will be allocated to material client interaction through all project phases, project management, intensive data-analysis and the identification of the “so-what’s” therein, and to creating compelling client-ready presentations and; 20% will be spent developing Analysts and coachees when assigned, participating in practice development and, carrying out routine administrative tasks. Requirements:

2+ years of experience as a Workday Student Functional Consultant or in similar Student Information Systems (PeopleSoft Campus Solutions, Oracle Student Cloud, Banner)
Workday Student Certifications (Student Essentials, Student Records, Student Finance or Financial Aid)
Expertise in configuring and implementing Workday Student modules, including Student Core, Academic Foundation, Academic Advising, Student Records, Student Financials, and Student Recruitment
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex student operations into Workday solutions
Hands-on experience with system setup, data migration, testing, and user training for Workday Student implementations
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills for client consultation and training
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Higher Education, or related field

Preferences:

5+ years of experience in Workday Student implementations with a proven track record of successful project delivery
Additional certifications in related Student Information Systems (PeopleSoft, Oracle Student Cloud)
Experience in higher education finance, consulting, or accounting with deep knowledge of student financial processes
Familiarity with Workday release updates and best practices for optimizing student operations
Ability to manage multiple projects, align stakeholders, and ensure seamless adoption of Workday solutions
