Job Title: Workday Analyst Lead
Job Location : Hyderabad
Work Mode : 4 days from office
Timings : Flexible to work in shifts (depending on the role)
Job Summary
The Workday Lead is responsible for the configuration, support, and optimization of the Workday HCM platform. This role partners with HR, Payroll, Finance, and IT teams to ensure Workday modules meet business needs, operate efficiently, and comply with organizational and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Workday System Configuration & Support
- Configure and maintain Workday modules such as Core HCM, Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, Absence, Recruiting, and Time Tracking.
- Perform system updates, enhancements, and configuration changes based on business requirements.
- Monitor system performance and resolve Workday-related issues and incidents.
- Support Workday releases, including regression testing and validation.
Business Analysis & Stakeholder Collaboration
- Partner with HR and business stakeholders to gather and analyse requirements.
- Translate business requirements into functional Workday solutions.
- Provide functional guidance and best practices for Workday usage.
- Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams.
Reporting & Data Management
- Develop and maintain Workday reports, dashboards, and calculated fields.
- Support ad-hoc and scheduled reporting needs.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security within Workday.
- Assist with audits, compliance reporting, and data validation.
Integrations & Interfaces
- Support inbound and outbound integrations between Workday and third-party systems.
- Collaborate with integration teams on data mappings, testing, and issue resolution.
- Monitor integration jobs and troubleshoot failures.
Testing, Documentation & Training
- Create test scripts and support UAT for Workday enhancements.
- Maintain system documentation, process flows, and configuration guides.
- Provide training and user support for HR and business teams.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Workday Functional Skills
- Strong experience with Workday HCM modules.
- Understanding of Workday business processes and configuration framework.
- Experience with Workday security roles and domain policies.
Technical & Analytical Skills
- Knowledge of Workday reporting tools.
- Basic understanding of Workday integrations (EIB, Studio, APIs preferred).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and support deadlines.
Soft Skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
Experience Requirements
- 8+ years of experience working with Workday HCM.
- Experience in HRIS, system analysis, or functional support roles.
- Prior experience supporting Workday implementations or post-production support is preferred.
