Key Responsibilities

Workday Finance Functional Leadership

Serve as Workday Financial Management modules, including but not limited to:
General Ledger
Accounts Payable
Accounts Receivable
Asset Management
Expenses
Banking & Settlement
Translate business requirements into Workday functional designs and configurations.
Provide guidance on best practices, business process frameworks, and financial controls.

Data Conversion & Migration

Lead end-to-end data conversion activities for Workday Finance implementations or optimizations.
Define data conversion strategy, scope, and approach across multiple legacy systems.
Partner with business and technical teams to:
Identify data sources
Define data mapping and transformation rules
Establish data quality and validation criteria
Design and execute mock conversions, parallel testing, and final production cutover.
Validate converted data using reconciliation reports, audit checks, and business sign-off.
Troubleshoot and resolve data discrepancies and load errors.

Technical & Integration Collaboration

Work closely with integration teams on inbound/outbound financial data flows.
Support the use of EIBs, Workday Studio, and other data load tools as needed.
Review and validate data load files and transformation logic.
Collaborate with reporting teams to support conversion and reconciliation reporting.

Stakeholder & Project Support

Act as a trusted advisor to Finance leadership and project stakeholders.
Participate in design reviews, testing cycles (SIT/UAT), and go-live readiness activities.
Support post-go-live stabilization, defect resolution, and continuous improvement.
Mentor junior analysts and provide knowledge transfer to internal teams.

Required Qualifications

7+ years of experience in Workday Financial Management , with a mix of functional and technical responsibilities.
Strong hands-on experience leading Workday Finance data conversions for at least one full-cycle implementation.
Deep understanding of financial data structures, accounting principles, and reconciliation processes.
Experience with Workday data conversion tools (EIBs, spreadsheets, Studio exposure a plus).
Proven ability to work across functional and technical teams.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Workday Financials certification(s).
Experience with multi-entity, global, or complex financial environments.
Prior consulting or system implementation partner experience.
Exposure to Prism Analytics or advanced Workday reporting.
Experience supporting ERP transformations from Oracle, SAP, PeopleSoft, or similar systems.
