Purpose of Role: This role is responsible for supporting the workforce reduction process globally. This role focuses on assisting with process standardization, compliance, efficiency, and business requirements. The Associate will work closely with GHR leadership, GHR COEs, technology teams, and business stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of workforce reductions while minimizing risks

Major Responsibilities:

  • Process Support & Governance: Assist in defining and governing the Employee Relations process globally, ensuring compliance with local regulatory and legal variances. Collaborate with GHR COEs, HR Business Partners, and Finance to support the execution and provide assistance to impacted employees

  • Standardization & Compliance: Help ensure global consistency in Employee Relations processes while accommodating local regulatory and legal requirements. Assist in designing and delivering global and local Employee Relations policies in adherence to relevant laws

  • Ticketing Tool: Engage with Employee Relations when reviewing an employee for termination and provide guidance on managing employee complaints and grievances

  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with various departments such as GHR COEs, legal, compliance, and finance teams to align Employee Relations policies and practices. This collaboration ensures smooth execution and support for impacted employees

  • Operational Excellence: Benchmark against industry best practices and assist in developing key Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure process effectiveness

  • Technology & Automation: Collaborate with GHR technology teams to leverage automation and digital tools for efficient execution of Employee Relations processes

                                                       

PERSON SPECIFICATION                                                        

Level of Education/ Specific Qualifications:

Experience in a similar role, preferably financial services/banking

Skills and Experience

  • 6+ years of GHR experience with a strong focus on GHR COE’s, workforce reductions, process transformation, and compliance

  • Knowledge of workforce transition strategies, employment laws, and regulatory requirements across geographies

  • Experience working with GHR technology platforms and automation tools for process efficiency

  • Ability to drive cross-functional partnerships with GHR COEs, Employee Relations, HR Business Partners, finance, and business leaders

Required Competencies:

  • Analytical & Data-Driven Decision Making: Expertise in process metrics, SLAs, and KPIs

  • Global Mindset: Experience working in a multinational environment, balancing standardization with local legal requirements

  • Risk & Compliance Management: Deep understanding of employment regulations related to workforce reductions
