Wordpress Developer

We are looking for a skilled WordPress Developer to design, develop, and maintain high-quality websites. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in WordPress development, theme and plugin customization, and performance optimization. You will work closely with designers, SEO specialists, and marketing teams to build scalable and user-friendly websites.

Salary: Up to 25K

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites
• Convert designs (Figma, XD, PSD) into responsive WordPress themes
• Build and customize WordPress themes and plugins
• Optimize website performance, speed, and security
• Implement SEO best practices during development
• Troubleshoot and resolve website issues and bugs
• Integrate third-party APIs and tools
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness
• Manage website backups, updates, and security patches

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong experience with WordPress development
• Proficiency in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery
• Experience with custom theme and plugin development
• Knowledge of page builders like Elementor, WPBakery, or Gutenberg
• Understanding of website performance optimization techniques
• Familiarity with SEO fundamentals
• Experience with MySQL and database management
• Knowledge of version control tools such as Git
• Basic understanding of hosting environments and cPanel

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with WooCommerce development
• Knowledge of REST APIs and third-party integrations
• Familiarity with website security best practices
• Understanding of UI/UX principles
• Experience working in an Agile environment

Education & Experience

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (preferred)
• 1+ years of hands-on experience in WordPress development
