Wordpress Developer

SB Infowaves is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented WordPress Developer to join our technical team in Kolkata. If you have a passion for building high-performance websites, creating seamless user experiences, and staying ahead of the latest web trends, this role is for you.

We need someone who can go beyond basic templates to build scalable, secure, and SEO-friendly websites that drive business growth.

• Full-Stack Development: Design, implement, and manage websites from concept to completion using WordPress.
• Customization: Develop custom themes and plugins to meet specific project requirements, ensuring they are lightweight and fast.
• Performance Optimization: Optimize websites for maximum speed, scalability, and "Core Web Vitals" scores.
• Responsive Design: Ensure all websites are fully responsive across all devices and cross-browser compatible.
• Troubleshooting: Identify and fix front-end and back-end bugs, and manage security updates to prevent vulnerabilities.
• Integrations: Connect WordPress sites with third-party APIs, CRM tools, and payment gateways.
• Collaboration: Work closely with our UI/UX designers and the SEO team to ensure technical requirements and design visions are aligned.

• Technical Expertise: Strong proficiency in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• WordPress Mastery: Deep knowledge of the WordPress ecosystem, including Gutenberg, ACF (Advanced Custom Fields), and popular page builders like Elementor or WPBakery.
• Database Management: Comfortable working with MySQL and understanding database structure.
• SEO Best Practices: Solid understanding of technical SEO (site structure, schema markup, and speed optimization).
• E-commerce: Experience with WooCommerce setup and customization is highly preferred.
• Version Control: Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.
• Experience: 2+ years of professional experience in WordPress development.
