WooCommerce Wordpress MySQL Developer

You'll work with our founder and India team and vendors.

We are looking for a talented Woocommerce developer. This is not a regular Wordpress developer role. It requires advanced knowledge and experience with Woocommerce and MySQL database. As a Woocommerce developer, you will be responsible for working on extensive e-commerce portfolio and will collaborate closely with designers, backend developers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality user experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Develop automation of product uploads, inventory and pricing updates for Woocommerce with optimized and automated updates in MySQL
• Develop plugins as needed
• Develop server and product configurator with rules built-in for products such as servers and bundled systems
• Develop simple but powerful UI for Wordpress Woocommerce e-commerce strorefront and other pages
• Utilize Figma to inspect and understand design specifications, layouts, and component structure provided by the design team.
• Implement pixel-perfect designs and user interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (including frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js).
• Collaborate with designers to ensure that the UI design is faithfully implemented and that interactions are consistent with the intended user experience.
• Optimize front-end code for performance, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Work closely with backend developers to integrate frontend components with server-side logic and APIs.
• Participate in code reviews, providing feedback and suggestions to maintain code quality and consistency.
• Stay up to date with front-end development trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
• Troubleshoot and debug frontend issues reported by users or identified during testing phases.
• Contribute to the improvement of development workflows, tools, and methodologies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ Years experience with Woocommerce development
• 3+ Years Experience with MySQL database
• Experience with custom WordPress Website Development
• Experience with front-end frameworks/libraries such as React.js will be preferred
• Experience with WordPress Plugin Development
• Experience with HTML and CSS.
• Experience with Javascript + JQuery
• Experience with PHP
• Experience with front-end frameworks (Bootstrap, CSS Grid, etc.)
• Experience with basic on-page SEO
• Web Server Experience (WP Engine, etc)
• Google API creation and management Helpful
• Website Design experience- Figma based design implementations
