Job Description
We are looking for a skilled WooCommerce Developer who can build, customize, and scale high-performing eCommerce stores using WordPress and WooCommerce. You will work closely with designers, project managers, and QA teams to deliver secure, fast, and conversion-focused online stores for global clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and customize WooCommerce-based eCommerce websites
- Customize checkout flows, cart behavior, and payment integrations
- Integrate third-party APIs (payment gateways, shipping, CRM, ERP)
- Optimize site performance, security, and scalability
- Fix bugs, improve existing code, and refactor legacy WooCommerce setups
- Ensure cross-browser, cross-device compatibility
- Follow WordPress coding standards and best practices
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers and Project Managers
- Provide technical support and maintenance post-deployment
Must Have
- Strong experience with WordPress & WooCommerce
- Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery
- Experience building custom WooCommerce plugins & themes
- Strong understanding of WooCommerce hooks, filters, and templates
- Experience with payment gateways.
- Knowledge of REST APIs & third-party integrations
- Familiarity with Git/version control
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
Good to Have
- Experience with Headless WooCommerce
- Knowledge of performance tools (Redis, WP Rocket, CDN)
- Experience with multilingual & multi-currency stores
- Exposure to WooCommerce Subscriptions, Memberships
- Basic understanding of SEO & CRO best practices
