Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Manhattan WMOS Consultant to join our growing team in Bengaluru. In this role, you will work closely with clients and internal teams to implement, configure, and optimize Manhattan WMOS solutions across warehouse and distribution environments.
You will play a key role in delivering high-quality warehouse management solutions while ensuring operational stability and process efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Implementation and Configuration
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand warehouse management requirements
- Configure and implement Manhattan WMOS to align with operational needs
- Participate in system setup, configuration, testing, data validation, and go-live activities
- Support enhancements and change requests within existing WMOS environments
Customization and Integration
- Support system customization including configuration updates and workflow adjustments
- Assist in integration activities between WMOS and ERP, TMS, MHE, and shipping systems
- Validate interfaces and ensure smooth data flow across systems
Support and Issue Resolution
- Provide L2 and L3 functional and techno-functional support
- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement fixes
- Monitor system performance and resolve operational bottlenecks
- Support patching, upgrades, and environment validation activities
Testing and Deployment
- Participate in SIT, UAT, regression, and performance testing
- Support defect triaging and validation
- Assist during go-live, hyper-care, and stabilization phases
Training and Documentation
- Conduct user training sessions and knowledge transfer workshops
- Prepare functional design documents, configuration guides, and support documentation
Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities for warehouse process optimization
- Stay current with Manhattan WMOS product updates and industry best practices
- Recommend system improvements to enhance operational efficiency
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field
- 2 to 10 years of hands-on experience with Manhattan WMOS
- Strong understanding of warehouse processes, including Receiving, Putaway, Picking, Packing, Waving, Shipping, and Inventory Management
- Experience in configuration and support within Manhattan WMOS
- Exposure to integrations and interface validation
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work independently and in a hybrid team environment
Good to Have
- SQL knowledge for data validation and troubleshooting
- Experience in multi-client or consulting environments
- Exposure to automation or MHE integrations
- Experience supporting multiple WMOS versions
