Join us in helping leading network technology organizations unlock the value of wireless innovation and drive scalable, high-performance connectivity solutions.Your RoleAs a WLAN Lead Engineer, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and testing Wi-Fi software features for gateway and extender products. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure robust implementation of wireless protocols and support troubleshooting efforts.In this role, you will:Design, develop and test Wi-Fi software features for Wi-Fi gateway/extender products.Work on development of new Wi-Fi features on PrplOS platform.Provide technical assistance to other teams to troubleshoot customer Wi-Fi issues.Contribute to Wi-Fi certification processes and ensure compliance.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical challenges.Your ProfileStrong understanding of IEEE802.11 / Wi-Fi protocol versions (4, 5, 6, and 7).Experience with Wi-Fi Management Systems (EasyMesh, AirTies, OpenSync, etc.).Strong knowledge of Linux Operating Systems and PrplOS platform.Hands-on experience in C/C++ programming and shell scripting.Strong knowledge of TCP/IP internals and common network protocols such as DHCP, DNS, HTTP.Exposure to Wi-Fi certification processes.Knowledge of source version control tools like Git, GitHub.Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.What You’ll Love About Working HereWe value flexibility and support our employees with remote work options and adaptable schedules to maintain a healthy work-life balance.Our inclusive culture brings together diverse professionals committed to growth, innovation, and excellence.You’ll have access to continuous learning opportunities and certifications in emerging technologies like Wi-Fi 7 and cloud networking.About UsCapgemini is a leader in wireless innovation, bringing together engineers and domain experts to help the world’s most advanced connectivity systems evolve.
