WLAN Developer

About the Role

As a WLAN Developer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and optimizing wireless networking solutions. You will work on lowlevel system components, including Linux kernel modules and device drivers, contributing directly to wireless system performance, reliability, and scalability. The role requires strong expertise in networking, embedded systems, and Linux internals, along with close collaboration with global engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain C-based software components for embedded WLAN systems.
• Work on Linux kernel modules and WLAN device drivers to ensure smooth hardware integration.
• Apply strong understanding of operating system fundamentals such as threading, synchronization, and memory management.
• Design and implement WLAN features aligned with IEEE 802.11 standards.
• Analyze and troubleshoot complex networking and systemlevel issues.
• Perform performance tuning, optimization, and validation of wireless protocols.
• Document technical designs, participate in design reviews, and maintain code quality.
• Stay current with advancements in wireless networking technologies and Linux kernel development.

Required Skills & Experience

• 38 years of handson experience in C programming and data structures.
• Strong expertise in Linux OS internals, kernel programming, and device driver development.
• Solid understanding of OS concepts including memory management, synchronization, and threading.
• Exposure to WLAN technologies and familiarity with 802.11 standards.
• Experience in networking protocols and systemlevel debugging tools.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or a related field.
• Passion for lowlevel programming, wireless systems, and innovation.
