Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Ekahau Wireless Engineer to support enterprise wireless network design, site surveys, and reporting. The role involves performing predictive, passive, active, and AP-on-a-stick (APoS) wireless surveys using Ekahau tools, producing high-quality RF design and validation reports, and responding to client queries related to wireless performance and design decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform wireless site surveys using Ekahau AI Pro and Ekahau Sidekick
• Conduct predictive, passive, active, and AP-on-a-stick (APoS) surveys
• Design and validate enterprise Wi-Fi networks for offices, campuses, warehouses, and manufacturing environments
• Generate detailed Ekahau reports including coverage, capacity, SNR, interference, and channel planning
• Review existing Ekahau survey reports and provide technical recommendations
• Analyse RF performance issues and propose corrective actions
• Answer client questions related to wireless design, survey results, and RF assumptions
• Collaborate with network and deployment teams during implementation
• Ensure designs align with Wi-Fi standards and enterprise best practices

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 38+ years of experience in wireless networking and RF design
• Strong hands-on experience with Ekahau AI Pro and Ekahau Sidekick
• Proven experience in AP-on-a-stick (APoS) and active wireless surveys
• Solid understanding of Wi-Fi standards (802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax)
• Strong knowledge of RF concepts including RSSI, SNR, CCI, ACI, noise floor, and roaming
• Experience with enterprise wireless vendors such as Cisco, Aruba, Ruckus, Juniper Mist, or Extreme
• Ability to create clear, professional wireless survey and design reports
• Strong communication skills to explain technical designs to clients

Preferred Qualifications

• Wireless certifications such as CWNA, CWDP, CWAP, Aruba ACMA/ACMP, or Cisco wireless certifications
• Experience supporting high-density or industrial wireless environments
