The Windows Application Management team, within the Personal Productivity tribe, owns and supports Microsoft Windows 11, as well as Application management platforms, including Microsoft Configuration Manager (SCCM), Intune, Admin Studio and Aternity.

Responsibilities

The Windows Application Management team, within the Personal Productivity tribe, owns and supports Microsoft Windows 11, as well as Application management platforms, including Microsoft Configuration Manager (SCCM), Intune, Admin Studio and Aternity.

Work as a Windows Platform Engineer in an Agile squad focused on implementing and enhancing end user experience with Application lifecycle management and User Experience.

Manage application deployments, package MSIs, configure configuration items and baselines policy, via Configuration Manager (SCCM), Intune, Aternity, and others.

Develop, test, and implement configuration changes and/or driver updates to improve overall Windows client stability & performance

Worked on Windows Registry, File System, Services, Devices, Hardware Drivers, Security components packaging

Provide packaging solutions using scripting PowerShell, VB Scripting, silent installs, and conflict resolution

Qualifications we seek in you!

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

Expert Skills with Microsoft Windows Operating Systems, System Registry, and WMI

Experience with SCCM CB architecture and administration, Admin Studio, InstallShield, VBScript and / or Powershell / batch scripting, Intune.

Familiarity with Microsoft Deployment methodologies and toolsets

Expert level of knowledge on Application compatibility, Performance, Scripting

Working knowledge of performance measuring and monitoring tools including but not limited to:

o Windows native performance tools

o Sysinternals

Working knowledge of Active Directory & Group Policy

PowerShell scripting experience

Familiarity or experience working will Agile teams and methodologies, a plus.

Strong comprehensive problem-solving skills to identify and solve issues quickly.

Ability to work well independently as well as part of a virtual, geographically dispersed team bringing a sense of urgency to the tasks at hand.

Effectively handle difficult and stressful situations with poise, tact and patience, while demonstrating a sense of urgency.
