Are you an experienced Wellhead Operator ready to manage offshore wellhead operations in a safety-critical, high-performance oil & gas environment?

We are seeking competent and safety-driven Wellhead Operators to support operations across offshore wellhead platforms and oil & gas processing installations in our project at Mumbai High. The role involves operating, monitoring, and maintaining wellhead systems, process equipment, and safety-critical elements to ensure safe, compliant, and optimized hydrocarbon production.

This position is ideal for a technically strong professional with hands-on offshore experience who understands process safety, shutdown systems, and well integrity in complex operating environments.

As we continue to strengthen our offshore production capabilities and support critical wellhead operations, we are looking for Wellhead Operators who can ensure safe, efficient, and compliant operations across our wellhead platforms and process installations.

What You Will Do

Operations & Process Management

• Perform operations and commissioning activities in oil & gas process installations
• Operate well fluid handling, separation systems, crude oil and hydrocarbon gas handling systems, and produced water handling systems
• Operate unmanned wellhead platforms and associated production facilities
• Conduct field installation, commissioning, and testing of wellhead equipment and systems
• Monitor process parameters and take corrective actions in case of abnormalities

Wellhead & Safety Systems Oversight

• Operate and maintain Wellhead Shutdown Panels and associated control components
• Handle ESD/FSD systems and Safety Critical Elements (SCE)
• Operate and maintain XSDV, XBDV, SCSSV, SSV, and SSIV systems
• Conduct routine inspection of wellhead equipment, fire & safety systems
• Perform plant start-up, shutdown, and revival activities

Production & Optimization

• Support production optimization initiatives
• Perform chemical injection, well monitoring, maintenance, well testing, and sampling
• Execute rig-less operations safely and efficiently

HSE & Compliance

• Perform Pre-Start-Up Safety Reviews (PSSR) and Job Safety Analysis (JSA) for critical activities
• Take effective action to control emergencies and contain hazards within area of responsibility
• Ensure strict compliance with offshore HSE and operational standards
• Maintain accurate operational logs and reporting

What We Are Looking For

• Strong hands-on offshore wellhead operational experience
• Solid understanding of process safety and shutdown systems
• Ability to work on unmanned platforms and remote installations
• High safety awareness and emergency response capability
• Strong troubleshooting and decision-making skills
• Ability to work in rotation-based offshore assignments

Qualification & Experience Criteria

• Diploma in Chemical / Mechanical / Petrochemical / Petroleum discipline
• Proficiency in computer operations
• 6 years of experience in Oil & Gas Processing Industry
• Including minimum 3 years in wellhead operations

OR

• B.E./B.Tech in Chemical / Mechanical / Petrochemical / Petroleum discipline
• Proficiency in computer operations
• 3 years of experience in Oil & Gas Processing Industry
• Including minimum 3 years in wellhead operations

Preferred Certifications

• NEBOSH certification (Process Safety Management module preferred)
• IWCF Well Control certification will be an added advantage
