Induspect is urgently hiring experienced QC / Welding Inspection professionals for a major industrial client Hiring for their Fabrication Shop in Dahej, Gujarat.

About the Role

Induspect is looking for a Senior Engineer Quality Control / Welding Inspector to oversee various quality control processes and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for Receipt, In-Process & Final Inspections and QC documentation
• Coordinate and monitor mechanical QA/QC and welding activities
• Handle QC work related to Equipment, Structures, Piping, Heaters/Furnaces, Skids
• Review and approve QC documentation and maintain records
• Ensure compliance with ASME / AISC / EN / IBR and applicable codes & standards
• Coordinate with contractors and client quality teams
• Conduct timely shop floor inspections and ensure external inspection clearances
• Prepare and interpret WPS / PQR / WPQ / Welder Qualifications
• Implement Quality Management Systems and quality culture
• Support audits and maintain compliance documentation

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in medium/large fabrication shops as QC / Welding Inspector
• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical / Production Engineering (Preferred)
• ASNT / EN ISO Level II RT, MT, PT, UTCSWIP (Mandatory) with hands-on welding inspection experience
• Knowledge of AWS / API Standards (Pressure Vessel experience preferred)
• Understanding of IS, IBR, ASME, TEMA, DIN, EN, AWS D1.1
• Knowledge of Welding Processes: SAW, ESSC, SMAW, GTAW, FCAW, GMAW
• Materials knowledge: CS, LAS, SS, Duplex/Super Duplex, Monel, Inconel, Titanium, etc.
• Experience in heat treatment methods
• Strong technical communication skills and audit exposure

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of AWS / API Standards
• Experience in pressure vessel inspection
