Webmaster (University Website & Digital Platforms)

Role Summary

The Webmaster is responsible for managing, maintaining, and continuously improving the universitys official website(s) and related digital platforms to ensure accuracy, security, accessibility, and a strong digital presence.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and update the University website, portals, and microsites.

Coordinate with academic departments, administration, and admissions teams for content updates.

Ensure website content is accurate, up to date, and compliant with University policies.

Maintain website performance, uptime, backups, and security.

Implement SEO best practices and improve website visibility.

Ensure compliance with accessibility standards (WCAG) and government guidelines.

Monitor analytics and prepare periodic performance reports.

Manage CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Drupal) and HTML/CSS edits.

Coordinate with vendors for hosting, security audits, and upgrades.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Bachelors degree in computer science, IT, Web Development, or related field.

57 years of experience in website management (preferably in education sector).

Knowledge of CMS, web hosting, SEO, and basic web security.

Strong coordination and communication skills
