Web Developer (Fresher)

Experience Required: 0–1 Year (Freshers with project/internship experience can apply)

Location: Technopark, Trivandrum

Objectives of this role

• Learn and assist in developing and maintaining backend systems using PHP and Node.js
• Support in creating and managing websites and applications using WordPress CMS
• Collaborate with front-end teams working on React or Angular for seamless integration
• Ensure website scalability, performance, and security under guidance from senior developers

Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic Web Developer (Fresher) with a basic understanding of PHP development, WordPress CMS, and web technologies.

The ideal candidate should be eager to learn modern frameworks like Node.js, React, or Angular and contribute to live projects in a collaborative environment.

You will work closely with senior developers and designers to build, maintain, and enhance web applications, integrate third-party APIs, and develop user-friendly solutions aligned with business needs.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of PHP and backend web development concepts
• Familiarity with WordPress CMS – theme setup, plugin usage, or customization
• Understanding of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Bootstrap, and jQuery
• Awareness of Node.js or modern front-end frameworks like React or Angular (added advantage)
• Good understanding of database concepts (MySQL preferred)
• Strong interest in learning new web technologies and tools
• Good problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

• Internship or academic project experience in web development
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and integration basics
• Familiarity with version control tools like Git
• Certification or coursework in PHP, WordPress, or Full Stack Development
