Key responsibilities:

Design and develop high quality user interfaces in accordance with the overall solution

architecture, adhering to design, regulatory, industry and product quality standards.

Build responsive, accessible web applications using Vue.js, meta-frameworks, and modern CSS

approaches, ensuring accessibility standards are embedded from the ground up.

Implement changes to products, translating design requirements into functional frontend

components.

Ensure high standards of usability, accessibility, and performance throughout the application's

user interface, with particular focus on WCAG 2.2 compliance.

Collaborate effectively with UK-based stakeholders, participating in requirements gathering and

solution design discussions.

Play a prominent role in exciting build and migration projects, including modernization of

legacy systems.

Integrate frontend applications with REST APIs and backend services.

Participate in code reviews and contribute to maintaining high code quality standards.

Respond to technical and support queries, analyzing root cause of issues and implementing

changes to prevent re-occurrences.

Work with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.

To be successful:

2-5 years of frontend development experience with modern JavaScript frameworks.

2+ years hands-on experience with Vue.js (Vue 3 preferred) and component-based

architecture.

Willingness to develop expertise in Nuxt framework with team guidance.

Proficiency with Tailwind CSS and utility first styling approaches.

Solid understanding of modern JavaScript (ES6+, async/await, destructuring, modules).

Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.

Strong knowledge of web accessibility principles and standards, particularly WCAG 2.2

compliance requirements.

Understanding of RESTful API integration and asynchronous data handling.

Experience working in Agile development environments.

Strong communication skills for collaborating with distributed teams and UK-based stakeholders.

Adherence to Idox Information Security policies and protocols.

Additional desirable qualities:

TypeScript experience and understanding of type-safe development.

Prior experience with Nuxt or other meta-frameworks (Next.js, SvelteKit).

Knowledge of CI/CD processes and automated deployment pipelines.

Exposure to AWS services and cloud-based development environments.

Understanding of performance optimization techniques for web applications.

Experience with migration projects or legacy system modernization.

Fluency in written and spoken business English.

Experience of working closely with UK, European or US IT service businesses ideal but not

essential.
