Job Description:

BID.ai is hiring a Web Developer Intern to join our engineering team responsible for building a smart marketplace where users can buy and sell new, used & refurbished products. The platform is already developed using PostgreSQL, React.js, Tailwind CSS, Node.js, Express and integrates Python automation to generate product details from uploaded images.

We are looking for passionate developers who are eager to learn, take ownership and contribute meaningful features to a production-grade application. This internship provides real-world exposure working closely with the core team.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and improve modules on the Bid.ai web platform.
• Contribute in building UI using React.js & Tailwind CSS
• Implement backend routes & REST APIs using Node.js & Express
• Work with PostgreSQL database for queries & data management.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers and team for feature integration.
• Test, debug, and optimize performance across features.
• Follow structured Git workflow & maintain clean, reusable code
• Deliver assigned tasks responsibly within deadlines

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, React.js, HTML, CSS, Tailwind CSS.
• Good knowledge of Node.js, Express.js & APIs.
• Database experience (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Firebase)
• Git and version control workflow.
• Strong debugging, problem-solving mindset.
• Ability to take ownership and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Bonus Skills(Preferred):

• Experience with deployment environments (Vercel/AWS/GCP)
• Familiarity with Firebase/Realtime DB integration
• Knowledge of basic python automation
• Prior project or portfolio available for review

Work Mode:

• Remote during probation(initial period)
• On-site (Prayagraj office) after probation
