Wealth Operations - Manager

Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for pre-balancing of income payments (interest, dividends, maturities etc.) with sound understanding of flow of cash from custody to broker to client. This involves working on releasing payments to all clients on the Income pay date within the defined SLA. Completing post-balancing activities such as clearing out of balances, following up with custodians regarding income discrepancies and handling income claims from counterparties.

Job Responsibilities & Preferred skills

Experience on Income Processing / Corporate Actions is desirable
Strong understanding of financial products like Equities, Bonds, Mutual Funds, MBS, SWAPS etc.
Knowledge of Income pre-balancing / reconciliation experience is desirable.
Knowledge of Income Entitlement is required. Good to have knowledge on Trade Settlements Lifecycle and Accruals.
Hands on experience around business transitions and required documentation will have added advantage.
Completing post-balancing activities such as clearing out of balances, following up with custodians regarding income discrepancies and handling income claims from counter-parties.
Experience of posting Income transactions on accounting & custody books is desirable.
Understanding around business transitions and required documentation will have added advantage.
Good knowledge of MS Excel is required.
Candidate should have exposure around audits (internal and external) and strong understanding around Risk and Control framework.
Establish strong relationship with onshore counterparts and should be capable of handling Onshore Queries and Issues.
Experience of applications like Global Plus, AddVantage & Trust Desk applications would have added advantage.

Relevant work experience in an Associate role is a must. Previous experience in a middle/back office in Financial services firm
