Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Associate to support chargeback and dispute processing for an Australian banking client. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of card scheme rules, hands-on experience in dispute resolution, and the ability to manage complex cases with accuracy and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Process chargebacks, pre-arbitrations, representments, and dispute cases in accordance with Visa/Mastercard/EFTPOS rules.
• Handle moderately complex and high-value dispute cases, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
• Assist in work allocation and support junior analysts with queries and case clarifications.
• Maintain compliance with client SLAs, quality parameters, and internal controls.
• Prepare daily/weekly reports related to productivity, accuracy, and case status.
• Identify trends, recurring errors, or process gaps and provide inputs for improvements.
• Coordinate with internal teams and support communication with the Australian client as required.
• Participate in team huddles, calibration sessions, and regular knowledge-sharing sessions.
• Support audit requirements and ensure proper documentation of dispute cases.

Key Requirements

• Graduate in any discipline; preference for finance/commerce background.
• 35 years of experience in chargebacks, disputes, or transaction processing.
• Strong understanding of Visa, Mastercard, and EFTPOS dispute regulations.
• Experience in Australian banking processes is highly preferred.
• Good communication skills and ability to interact with internal stakeholders.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel for reporting and case tracking.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
