Job Description
Job Role: - Web Analytics Analyst
Role Summary
As part of the Web Analytics Practice Team, you will support the implementation and optimization of analytics solutions across multi-brand, multi-region environments. You will work on GA4 and GTM setups, assist in measurement strategy execution, and ensure accurate data collection for actionable insights. This role offers exposure to advanced tagging, data governance, and cross-channel measurement frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and track KPIs, events, and conversions aligned with business goals.
- Document analytics requirements and contribute to solution blueprints.
- Implement and configure GA4 and GTM for web and app analytics.
- Support server-side tagging, consent mode, and integration with reporting tools.
- Participate in tag validation, data reconciliation, and QA processes.
- Follow governance and change control processes; maintain documentation.
- Ensure tagging workflows comply with privacy regulations (GDPR/CCPA).
- Prepare data extracts and reports for client use; assist with RFP/RFI responses.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to best practices.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: 2-4 years in digital/web analytics roles.
- Hands-on experience with Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Google Tag Manager (GTM) for web and app implementations.
- Basic understanding of data layer design , GA4 schema, and Enhanced Ecommerce tracking.
- Familiarity with consent mode and privacy compliance (GDPR/CCPA).
- Exposure to SQL and reporting tools like Looker Studio or Power BI .
- Ability to configure tags, triggers, and variables in GTM and validate implementations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Good communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
Nice-to-Have
- Knowledge of server-side tagging concepts.
- Familiarity with A/B testing tools (e.g., Optimizely, VWO).
- Exposure to API integrations (e.g., Conversion APIs) and Big Query basics.
- Understanding of CMPs (Consent Management Platforms) and accessibility standards.
- Basic scripting knowledge (JavaScript or Python) for QA and debugging.
