JOB DESCRIPTION FOR 2A:


Role Purpose:

To independently manage IRA operational activities while ensuring regulatory compliance, accuracy, and client service excellence in line with Infosys delivery standards.


Experience:

1-2 years of relevant experience in US banking Domain, IRA experience, customer service or similar roles as per current OD guidelines it is 1 to 2 years work experience post-graduation completion)


Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain IRA accounts in compliance with federal regulations.
  • Based on complexity, optimally manages assigned tasks within deadlines, prioritizing and scheduling work.
  • Demonstrates the ability to independently manage individual cases, ensuring minimal rework and consistently meeting established quality and timeline standards.
  • Monitor and process the batch of transactions/records with complete accuracy and to identify errors and initiate necessary corrective action
  • Execute complex tasks according to established standard operating procedures within defined SLAs
  • Process IRA contributions, distributions, rollovers and transfers accurately.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and legal requirements during the execution of transactions.
  • Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
  • Stay updated on tax laws and retirement account regulations.


Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Working knowledge of IRA products and retirement account operations.
  • Strong attention to detail and compliance orientation.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder coordination skills.

Role Purpose:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Back-End Operations Specialist to support our Individual Retirement Services team. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth functioning of retirement account processing, data management, compliance tracking, and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have experience in financial services operations (Specifically in IRA products two or more services such as Revocations, Recurring Distributions, Recharacterization, Form 5498 Corrections, Decedent IRA's, Conversions, Processing ZREP 028 report, Withholding Election Reminder Letters, State Withholding Dashboard, IRS refund return OPT - IN Program and IRS (Internal Revenue Service)-Report & Record Keeping), strong analytical skills, and a commitment to accuracy and confidentiality.


Experience:

2-3 years of relevant experience in US banking, IRA experience, customer service, or similar roles. as per current OD guidelines it is 2 to 3 years work experience post-graduation completion)


Responsibilities:

  • Review IRA transactions including contributions, distributions, rollovers, transfers and beneficiary updates.
  • Serve as SME for IRA regulations, IRS guidelines and client-specific requirements.
  • Excellent problem-solving and documentation skills
  • Provide functional guidance and mentoring to Process Executives.
  • Collaborate with operations teams to maintain accuracy and efficiency
  • Perform root cause analysis for defects, errors and compliance gaps.
  • Participate in client governance calls and operational reviews.
  • Ensure adherence to Infosys risk, compliance and information security standards.
  • Work flexibly in rotational and night shifts.
