WAF SME (Web Application Firewall)- Imperva

Job Description: #CyberAssure is seeking a skilled WAF Engineer with experience in Imperva and NetScaler to manage and optimize our web application firewall operations.

Experience- 3+ Years

Location- Noida

No of Position- 1

Key Responsibilities:

1.Monitor WAF alerts, investigate incidents, and escalate complex issues to the team

2.Implement and fine-tune WAF rules and policies to minimize false positives

3.Maintain documentation and SOPs for WAF operations

4.Collaborate with WAF SMEs, SOC analysts, and security architects to improve WAF effectiveness

5.Participate in knowledge transfer sessions and training during transition phase

6.Stay updated on WAF best practices and emerging threats

7.Configure and deploy WAF policies and rules to protect web applications

8.Analyse WAF logs and alerts to identify security threats and trends

9.Collaborate with application teams to troubleshoot and resolve WAF-related issues

10.Provide WAF-related reporting and metrics to stakeholders

11.Develop and deliver WAF-related training and knowledge sharing sessions

Requirements:

1.3+ years of experience with Imperva and NetScaler WAF

2.Strong understanding of web application security and WAF operations

3.Experience with WAF rule configuration and tuning

4.Familiarity with security frameworks and compliance requirements

5.Relevant certifications (e.g., Imperva/NetScaler certifications) is a plus
