Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced F5 WAF Engineer (L2/L3) to manage, configure, and support F5 Advanced WAF / ASM environments. The role involves Level 2/3 operational support, troubleshooting security incidents, implementing security policies, and collaborating with L1, L2, L3 and application teams to ensure secure web applications.

Education and skills:

B.E. /B.Tech/MCA.

At least 4 years experience in Security device management and operation on WAF F5.

Good knowledge on different security tools like Network Security (WAF, Network APT, Secure Web Gateway), IAM (PIM, RSA), Endpoint, Security (EDR, DAM, NAC, DLP, FIM, IRM, SIEM/SOAR, Active Directory, Web Application etc..

Key Responsibilities

Provide L2/L3 support for F5 WAF (ASM / Advanced WAF) environments

Configure, deploy, and manage F5 WAF security policies

Perform troubleshooting of WAF-related issues, false positives, and traffic blocks

Monitor WAF alerts, logs, and security events

Fine-tune signatures, attack mitigation settings, and security rules

Support incident response for web-based attacks (SQLi, XSS, CSRF, etc.)

Assist with WAF policy optimization and performance tuning

Work closely with application, network, and security teams

Support change management, upgrades, and patching activities

Create and maintain documentation, SOPs, and runbooks

Escalate complex issues to L3/vendor when required
