Executive Summary
We are hiring a Vice President Solutioning to lead enterprise-wide solution design and consulting initiatives across the Insurance domain, with a primary focus on Property & Casualty.
This is a hardcore solutioning role (non-delivery) requiring deep domain expertise, structured problem-solving capability, pricing acumen, and the ability to craft winning, consultative solutions across global insurance markets.
The role demands a hands-on solution leader who can independently design scalable solutions, shape large deals, and work closely with business leadership to drive revenue growth.
Role Purpose:
As VP Solutioning, India you will own and drive:
- Cross-capability solution architecture (business & operating model solutions)
- Structured solution frameworks across opportunities
- Consulting-led problem solving for insurers, reinsurers, brokers & MGAs
- Pricing strategy and commercial structuring
- Proposal development and deal shaping
- This role begins as an Individual Contributor and will gradually expand into leading a small solutioning team (12 members).
Key Responsibilities:
Enterprise Solutioning Ownership
- Own end-to-end solutioning across multiple insurance capabilities
- Design integrated operating models aligned to client requirements
- Develop structured solutioning methodologies, tools, and templates
- Convert client pain points into commercially viable solution constructs
- Collaborate with Client Partners, Business Development, Finance, and Delivery teams for solution validation and margin governance
- Lead client workshops and present differentiated solution narratives
Consulting & Market Expansion:
- Drive consultative engagements within Property & Casualty insurance ecosystem
- Support new capability transitions and strategic client expansion
- Identify growth opportunities within existing client portfolios
- Leverage offshore excellence and process transformation frameworks to build scalable models
- Use deep insurance market knowledge to position differentiated value propositions
Commercial & Deal Structuring:
- Lead pricing strategy and financial modelling
- Own proposal writing and RFP solutioning
- Shape competitive bids against global insurance services firms
Candidate Profile:
We are looking for a senior insurance solutioning leader with:
- 1825 years of experience
- Strong background in Solutioning / Consulting / Practice teams
- Proven expertise in hardcore solution design (not delivery management)
- Hands-on experience in pricing, commercial modelling & proposal writing
- Ability to independently structure and win complex deals
- Experience catering to 50+ insurance clients across markets
