About Them

A high-growth travel tech company on a mission to enable every person on earth to travel freely. They're automating one of travel's most frustrating pain points visas and expanding across B2C, B2E, and B2G, from seamless visa delivery to enterprise mobility and government partnerships that power large-scale travel infrastructure.



As VP of Engineering, you'll be the technical backbone of this journey leading the engineering team through scale, shaping systems for global growth, and building a world-class group of engineers who move fast and solve hard problems.


Responsibilities

  • Lead and scale a high-performing engineering team through rapid growth
  • Drive system design and architecture decisions for scalability, reliability, and performance across geographies and product lines
  • Partner with Product and Design to translate business goals into efficient, scalable engineering outcomes
  • Establish robust development processes CI/CD, observability, and a quality-first culture
  • Define the long-term tech roadmap from infrastructure to platform capabilities


Requirements

  • 1015 years of engineering experience, including 3+ years in a senior leadership role
  • Proven track record scaling consumer or B2C tech platforms (global, fintech, or travel domain a bonus)
  • Deep expertise in modern architectures, microservices, distributed systems, and cloud-native stacks (AWS/GCP)
  • Strong command of backend and frontend frameworks (Python, Node, React), mobile ecosystems, and data pipelines
  • High bias for action; thrives in fast-paced, high-accountability environments
