Internshala powers one of Indias largest early-career talent ecosystems, helping millions of students and young professionals start their careers through internships and entry-level jobs. Having built category leadership in internships and fresher hiring, Internshala is now expanding into the 25 years early-talent hiring segment.
This expansion marks the next phase of our marketplace evolution. We are building a scaled, high-quality talent supply engine that supports employers across the full early-career journey. This role sits at the center of that ambition.
What will you do?
We are looking for a strategic and execution-oriented VP Growth Talent Marketplace (Supply) to lead the growth of Internshalas candidate ecosystem.
You will own how talent supply scales across the platform, building long-term growth engines across organic product-led initiatives, acquisition, lifecycle engagement, partnerships, community ecosystems, and brand-led initiatives. Working closely with product, marketing, and business leadership, you will help grow the talent marketplace and unlock Internshalas next chapter.
Key Responsibilities
- Own candidate marketplace growth across acquisition, activation, engagement, and long-term retention.
- Scale talent supply across internships, fresher roles, and the emerging 25 years experience segment.
- Build compounding organic growth engines through SEO and product-led discovery in partnership with product and engineering teams.
- Design lifecycle growth systems across CRM channels to improve activation, engagement, and repeat participation.
- Develop strategic partnerships with universities, training institutes, and ecosystem communities to create scalable talent pipelines.
- Lead campus and community-led growth programs that drive grassroots adoption and referrals at scale.
- Drive high-impact branding and creative campaigns that strengthen awareness and preference among early-career talent.
- Improve marketplace health by balancing supply quality, liquidity, and alignment with employer demand.
- Build and lead high-performing growth teams while fostering a strong culture of ownership, experimentation, and execution.
Desired skills & experience
- 712 years of experience in growth, marketplace, consumer internet, or platform-led businesses.
- Demonstrated ownership of business or growth metrics at scale.
- Experience building sustainable acquisition or engagement engines beyond paid marketing.
- Strong cross-functional experience working with product, marketing, and business teams.
- Analytical thinker with strong strategic judgment and execution capability.
