Role Overview

Senior leadership role responsible for driving AML and Financial Crime Compliance operations within insurance processes. The role requires deep operational expertise, strong people leadership, and hands-on experience in insurance (L&A or P&C).

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end AML & Financial Crime Operations across insurance lifecycle.
• Oversee KYC, Customer Due Diligence (CDD), Transaction Monitoring, Sanctions & Name Screening.
• Embed compliance controls across onboarding, claims, payments, endorsements, renewals.
• Manage large operational teams ensuring SLA adherence, quality, and regulatory compliance.
• Act as senior client interface and manage key stakeholder relationships.
• Partner with Risk & Control teams on testing, audits, and assurance outcomes.
• Assess cost, efficiency, and operational risks with a strong commercial mindset.

Mandatory Requirements

• 23+ years of total experience, with current experience in Insurance (L&A or P&C).
• Strong hands-on expertise in AML & Financial Crime operations (not advisory only).
• Deep understanding of insurance processes and risk landscape.
• Proven leadership of large teams in a delivery environment.
• Experience managing senior client stakeholders.
• Working knowledge of control testing and regulatory frameworks.
• Strong commercial acumen and operational decision-making capability.
