Role: Vice President - Business Oversight Compliance

We are currently partnering with a leading global banking institution to identify a Vice President - Business Oversight Compliance for a high-impact leadership role.

This opportunity sits at the core of Risk, Compliance, and Business Oversight, offering a platform to influence governance, regulatory adherence, and conduct risk management across the organisation.

Key Highlights of the Role:

• Provide independent oversight, check, and challenge on business activities to ensure alignment with legal, regulatory, and ethical standards
• Lead identification and assessment of compliance risks across processes, systems, and business changes
• Drive investigations into potential compliance breaches including market abuse, financial crime, and conduct risks
• Partner with senior stakeholders across business, legal, and risk functions to strengthen governance frameworks
• Contribute to strategic initiatives, policy development, and continuous improvement across compliance processes

We are looking for professionals who bring:

• Strong experience in Regulatory Compliance within Financial Services (Banking preferred)
• Exposure to UK regulatory frameworks and conduct risk oversight
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and operate in a high-stakes, fast-paced environment
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills at senior leadership levels
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex regulatory requirements and translate them into actionable insights
