Job Description

Hiring: Communication / Soft Skills Trainer

Location: Kolkata

Experience: 1+ years minimum as Communication/Soft Skills Trainer (International Customer Service process)

Qualification: Graduation

Availability: Immediate joiners preferred

Shifts: Rotational

Role & Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and evaluate calls/chats for language quality and communication skills.
  • Provide coaching & feedback based on observations to support agent development.
  • Prepare and implement individual coaching plans with resources and guidance.
  • Deliver training in both virtual and classroom environments .
  • Create performance clusters/quartiles and drive improvement in bottom quartile communication skills.
  • Participate in calibration sessions with Quality, Operations, and Clients.
  • Conduct Train the Trainer (TTT) sessions for new product/process updates and update content accordingly.
  • Facilitate communication sessions on soft skills, language, and customer service etiquette for new hires.
  • Share Q-Tips on soft skills and WOW customer service statements.
  • Coordinate with Quality/Ops teams for TNA/TNI and design refresher training programs.
  • Maintain and share training reports with stakeholders.


Key Skills & Knowledge

  • Excellent oral & written English communication skills.
  • Strong ability to coach advisors on grammar, sentence construction, clarity, pronunciation, soft skills, and call etiquette.
  • Excellent facilitation and presentation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and people management skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Analytical and quantitative skills with effective time management.
  • Decision-making and initiative-driving ability.
  • Rich experience in handling international customer service processes as a communication trainer.
