We are seeking an expert VMware L4 Administrator with specialized skills in VMware Virtual SAN (vSAN) and Azure VMware Solution (AVS) to lead our virtual infrastructure strategy and operations. This senior-level position requires extensive knowledge of VMware technologies, particularly vSAN and AVS, and the ability to design, implement, and maintain complex virtual environments at an enterprise scale. The ideal candidate will serve as the top-level expert, providing strategic insights and advanced troubleshooting support across the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Architect and deploy robust VMware vSphere, vSAN, and Azure VMware Solution (AVS) that meet the future needs of the business while ensuring reliability, scalability, and security.
• Provide L4 support for the most complex issues in the virtual infrastructure, including deep-dive analysis and troubleshooting of vSphere, vSAN, and AVS environments.
• Lead the design and implementation of enterprise-wide virtualization strategies, including integration with existing systems and future technology planning.
• Develop and enforce best practices for vSphere, vSAN, and AVS administration, including performance tuning, disaster recovery, and security compliance.
• Conduct sophisticated capacity planning and performance analysis to predict growth needs and identify potential bottlenecks in the virtual infrastructure.
• Spearhead the evaluation and adoption of new virtualization technologies and tools, driving innovation and continuous improvement within the IT infrastructure.
• Collaborate with senior IT leaders to align virtualization strategies with overall IT and business goals.
• Mentor and develop a team of VMware administrators, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.
