Summary:

As a Compute & Storage Architect within the Non-Production Environment team, you will be a key driver in the transformation of our development, testing, and staging infrastructure, focusing specifically on modernizing compute and storage solutions. You will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, resilient, and cost-effective architectures leveraging cloud-native services, virtualization technologies, and software-defined storage solutions. Collaborating closely with engineering leadership, product owners, and environment engineers, you will define target architectures, lead proof-of-concepts, develop implementation roadmaps, and provide technical guidance to ensure successful migration and adoption of new compute and storage platforms that enhance agility, efficiency, and self-service capabilities within our non-production landscape.

As an Enterprise Technology Architect, you will be responsible for architecting complex end-to-end IT solutions across the enterprise. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various teams to apply the latest technology and industry expertise, ensuring the creation of better products and experiences that meet the needs of the organization. You will engage in discussions with stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into effective architectural designs, while also staying updated on industry trends to drive innovation within the organization.

Professional & Technical Skills:

- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in VMware Datacenter Virtualization Architecture and Design.

- Experience with Storage Area Networks (SAN) Architecture and Design.

- Strong skills in Architectural Design.

- Familiarity with Linux Architecture.

- Ability to design and implement scalable and resilient IT solutions.

Additional Information:

- The candidate should have minimum 12 years of experience in VMware Datacenter Virtualization Architecture and Design.

- A 15 years full time education is required.
