We are looking for a Visual Strategist / Creative Director who will own and shape the end-to-end visual identity of the brand, ensuring consistency, creativity, and impact across all platforms.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role based in Mumbai for a Visual Strategist / Creative Director specializing in a luxury brand. Individual will be responsible for defining and leading Jaurs visual language across digital platforms, campaigns, and brand assets. This role will oversee the creative direction of the brand and guide a team of designers to produce compelling visuals that elevate brand perception and drive engagement. The role involves leading creative direction and strategy, developing innovative brand initiatives, and crafting compelling narratives that align with the brand's values. Responsibilities include conceptualizing and executing visual campaigns, collaborating with cross-functional teams, conducting brand research, and ensuring a cohesive and visually impactful representation of JAUR across all platforms.
Brand Visual Direction
- Define and maintain Jaurs overall visual identity and creative direction.
- Ensure consistency across all visual touchpoints including website, social media, campaigns, packaging, and brand collaterals.
- Translate brand strategy into compelling visual storytelling.
Creative Leadership
- Lead and mentor the design team, providing creative direction and feedback.
- Set creative standards and ensure high-quality output across all assets.
- Collaborate closely with marketing and content teams to align visuals with campaign objectives.
Campaign & Content Strategy
- Conceptualize and execute campaign visuals, lookbooks, and marketing creatives.
- Develop visual concepts for product launches, seasonal campaigns, and digital promotions.
- Ensure creatives are optimized for engagement, conversions, and brand recall.
Shoot Planning & Creative Production
- Lead end-to-end photo and video shoot planning, including concept development, mood boards, styling, and art direction.
- Work with photographers, stylists, and production teams to execute shoots.
- Oversee final edits to ensure visual quality and brand alignment.
E-commerce Visual Experience
- Guide the visual direction of website layouts, homepage banners, emailers, and digital ads.
- Ensure a cohesive visual experience across the customer journey.
Trend & Aesthetic Innovation
- Stay updated on global luxury, fashion, and jewellery visual trends.
- Continuously evolve the brands aesthetic while maintaining its core identity.
Qualifications
- 58 years of experience in visual design, art direction, or creative leadership.
- Experience working with luxury, fashion, jewellery, or lifestyle brands.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating campaign work, brand identity systems, and shoot direction.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign; After Effects is a plus).
- Experience managing creative teams and cross-functional collaboration.
- Strong eye for luxury aesthetics, typography, composition, and visual storytelling.
- Excellent project management and communication skills.
