Job Description
Role Summary
The Visiting Faculty Engineering Mathematics will be responsible for teaching core mathematics subjects to B.Tech students, ensuring strong conceptual clarity and application-oriented learning.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver lectures and tutorials as per the prescribed university syllabus.
- Teach subjects including Engineering MathematicsI, II, III & IV , covering:
- Calculus
- Linear Algebra
- Differential Equations
- Probability & Statistics
- Numerical Methods
- Laplace & Fourier Transforms
- Prepare lesson plans, notes, presentations, and question banks .
- Conduct internal assessments, assignments, quizzes, and examinations .
- Evaluate answer scripts and maintain academic records .
- Conduct doubt-clearing and remedial sessions for students.
- Follow AICTE / University academic guidelines and timelines .
- Coordinate with academic and examination teams for smooth delivery.
Required Qualifications
- M.Sc. / M.Tech in Mathematics / Applied Mathematics / Engineering Mathematics
- NET / PhD preferred (as per AICTE norms)
Experience
- Prior teaching experience at B.Tech / Engineering level preferred
- Experience in handling university examinations will be an added advantage
