| Locations : Bangalore/Kochi/Pune/Kolkata The Opportunity As a Cloud Desktop Infrastructure Support Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting and administering the enterprise virtual desktop infrastructure hosted on Azure Virtual Desktop, RemoteApps, and Windows 365 platforms. You will apply ITIL methodologies to ensure secure, reliable, and efficient access to cloud-hosted Windows environments. This includes managing vendor relationships, scheduling and executing platform updates, image maintenance, OS upgrades, provisioning and decommissioning of virtual desktops, and maintaining comprehensive documentation for both infrastructure and end users. A key part of the role involves overseeing the intake and onboarding of line-of-business applications, ensuring they meet platform, security, and operational requirements from evaluation through deployment. You’ll also contribute to incident resolution, root cause analysis, and continuous service improvement while collaborating with vendors and internal teams to enhance automation and user experience. You will also ensure compliance with organizational security policies, report any breaches, and contribute to knowledge sharing and training initiatives. To qualify for the role, you must have • Experience in managing and configuring a applications on Virtual Systems such as Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, Azure Virtual Desktop or Remote Desktop Services or similar automation solution. • Strong understanding of Entra ID\Active Directory, modern authentication and its integration with on-premises applications. • Familiarity with security policies. • Skilled in supporting modern workplace tools and resources. • A good understanding of networking concepts, including DNS, firewalls, and VPNs. • Familiarity with identity and access management principles and practices. Ideally, you’ll also have • Experience in managing and supporting large environments, including planning, designing, installation, monitoring, implementation, and setup of application proxy solutions. • Knowledge of application security best practices and compliance requirements. • Experience with troubleshooting authentication and authorization issues in a hybrid environment. • Ability to create and implement system architecture for application access solutions. • Experience in writing scripts or code for automation and integration purposes. • Testing and quality assurance experience to ensure application proxy solutions meet q uality and performance standards. • Experience with the implementation of new products and/or service offerings |
