About the Role We are looking for a creative and skilled Video Editor & Videographer to produce high-quality promotional, event, and social media video content that showcases the spirit of Navodaya Education Trust, from campus life and academic milestones to student success stories and brand campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, shoot, and record high-quality videos using professional cameras and equipment for promotions, events, interviews, reels, and institutional storytelling
• Set up lighting, audio, framing, and composition for both indoor and outdoor shoots
• Edit raw footage into polished, engaging videos using industry-standard tools
• Add transitions, motion graphics, subtitles, background music, sound effects, color grading, and branding elements
• Create short-form content optimized for Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, Facebook, and other platforms
• Collaborate with marketing, communications, and academic teams to understand creative briefs and timelines
• Maintain consistency in tone, style, and quality as per NET brand guidelines
• Organize, archive, and back up all video assets and project files

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven hands-on experience in videography and video editing (portfolio required)
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and/or Final Cut Pro
• Solid knowledge of camera operation, lighting setups, audio recording, and basic motion graphics
• Creative eye for storytelling, composition, pacing, and visual flow
• Ability to manage multiple projects, meet tight deadlines, and adapt to fast-changing requirements
• Excellent attention to detail and understanding of social media video trends & formats

Preferred Qualifications

• Diploma / Degree in Film, Media, Mass Communication, Visual Arts, or related field
• Experience in in-house / corporate / educational video production
• Basic photography skills (still shots, event coverage)
• Familiarity with color correction, sound design, and motion graphics
