Video Producer Intern

Company Description:

Sunlight Sports Studio LLP is a sports equipment retail and marketing company. We handle creative strategy and marketing for major sports brands like Li-Ning and Hundred in India. Our work spans digital campaigns, content creation, and e-commerce retail activations that bring sports gear to life.

Role Overview:

As a Video Producer, you will lead end-to-end video production, shaping how sports culture and performance gear are visually represented across digital platforms. This role requires strong creative thinking, technical expertise, and the ability to execute high-energy shoots in fast-paced environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Creative Ideation

• Conceptualize and storyboard viral Reels and high-end commercial videos.
• Develop compelling visual narratives that reflect sports culture and brand identity.

End-to-End Production

• Direct all filming activities, including lighting setups, camera work, and high-motion cinematography.
• Manage production gear, technical execution, and overall shoot quality.

Field Operations

• Scout athletic and urban locations.
• Coordinate on-site logistics to ensure smooth and efficient shoot days.

Styling & Art Direction

• Curate athlete outfits and overall looks to present performance gear with a premium, aspirational aesthetic.

Team Collaboration

• Work closely with graphic designers and editors for VFX and motion graphics.
• Provide creative direction during post-production to ensure final outputs align with campaign vision.

Core Competencies:

• Expert use of cameras, gimbals, and lighting setups for fast-moving subjects.
• Strong understanding of current social media formats, trends, and sports-specific visual styles.
• Ability to transform raw environments (gyms, tracks, courts, streets) into professional-grade visual backdrops.
• Strong storytelling instincts and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple shoots and tight timelines efficiently.

What we're looking for:

• A strong portfolio/showreel showcasing sports, action, or brand-focused video work.
• Hands-on production experience.
• Creative, proactive mindset with problem-solving ability on shoot days.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Job offer:

On successful conversion to a permanent employee, the candidate can expect a salary of 400000 to 600000/year.

Working Conditions:

Full-time, on-site at Sunlight Sports Studio LLP.

Standard office hours (MonSat), with flexibility during major festivals and events.
