Job Overview:

We are looking for a creative and technically inclined Video Editor & Motion Graphics Specialist. You will be responsible for producing high-quality video content that includes product explainers, feature highlights, customer testimonials, tutorial videos, and marketing campaign assets. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between technical information and compelling visual storytelling, enhancing our brand presence and supporting sales enablement. Edit & Produce: Create engaging videos from raw footage (screen recordings, podcasts, event shoot, stock media) for various platforms (Website, YouTube, LinkedIn, Sales Demos).

Key Responsibilities:

1. Motion Graphics & Animation: Design and animate explainer videos, lower-thirds, icons, data visualizations, and title sequences to simplify and illustrate technical software concepts.
2. Technical Explainer Videos: Work closely with product marketing and technical teams to storyboard and produce clear, concise videos on product features, use cases, and integrations.
3. Brand Consistency: Ensure all video content adheres to Motadata's brand guidelines (colors, fonts, tone, style).
4. Asset Management: Organize and manage a library of video footage, graphics, music, and project files.
5. Feedback Integration: Collaborate with stakeholders, incorporate feedback, and deliver final versions on schedule.

A. Core Video Editing & Software Skills:

• Expert Proficiency in industry-standard software:
• Adobe Premiere Pro (Primary NLE)
• Basic Adobe After Effects (Essential for motion graphics)
• Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator (For creating and modifying graphics)
• Strong understanding of editing principles: pacing, timing, narrative flow, and continuity.
• Proficient in color correction, grading, and audio mixing/sweetening.
• Experience with screen recording software (e.g., Camtasia, OBS Studio) for software demo captures.

B. Animation & Motion Graphics Knowledge (CRITICAL):

• 2D Animation: Ability to create smooth, professional explainer animations using shape layers, typography animation, and character animation (basic) in After Effects.
• Kinetic Typography: Animating text to emphasize key points effectively.
• Infographic & Data Visualization: Ability to animate charts, graphs, and network diagrams to make data-driven stories engaging.
• Understanding of Principles: Comfort with keyframes, easing, graph editor, masks, and parenting.
• Added Advantage Familiarity with plugins like Element 3D, Duik Bassel, or Adobe Character Animator., Experience in the B2B or SaaS technology sector
