Video Editor

Indian Institute of Art & Design is seeking a talented and creative video editor to join our Admissions and Outreach team. The successful candidate will be responsible for editing and producing high-quality video content to promote our programmes, showcase student work, and provide instructional material.

Designation : Executive- Video Editor (Admissions and Outreach Team)

Name of the Institution : Indian Institute of Art and Design (IIAD) & University of Design, Innovation & Technology (UDIT)

Location : 7th Floor, Golf Course Ext Rd, Sector 69, Gurugram, Haryana

Working Conditions : Timings 09.00 am- 06.00 pm (Monday to Friday)

10.00 am- 05.00 pm (Saturday)

Work Experience : The ideal candidate should have 02 years experience in editing a range of video content, including promotional videos, instructional videos, event coverage, and interviews. The video editor should be able to work collaboratively with other members of the team to deliver content that meets the needs of our university and supports our marketing and educational goals.

Education: Formal education / training / bachelors degree in film, video production, or a related field

Reporting: Manager Admissions and Outreach Team

Requirements:

• Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Lightraoom, Final cut pro, Da Vinci Resolve and other video editing software.
• Knowledge of video formats, codecs, and file types
• Strong understanding of visual storytelling and how to create engaging content.
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with other team members, including faculty members and students.
• Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Passion for video production and storytelling, with an interest in education and design.

Job Description

• Edit video content for a variety of platforms, including social media, websites, and other digital channels to promote our programs and showcase student work.
• Manage video files and ensure that they are organized and easily accessible.
• Create and edit enhanced videos, and other visual elements to enhance video content.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure that video content is aligned with our brand guidelines and marketing objectives.
• Work with faculty members to develop instructional videos and other educational materials.
• Continuously stay up to date with industry trends and best practices to ensure that our video content remains relevant and engaging.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate ideas for new video content.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and work with other team members to resolve any problems that arise.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver projects on time. Ensure that all video content is of high quality and meet professional standards.
