Video Editor

Role Overview- We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor who can transform raw footage into engaging, high-quality visual stories. The role involves editing content across digital platforms, collaborating with creative teams, and ensuring timely delivery while maintaining strong visual and storytelling standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit videos for social media, digital campaigns, brand films, ads, reels, and internal content
• Assemble raw footage, apply cuts, transitions, sound design, music, subtitles, and basic motion graphics
• Ensure videos align with brand tone, creative briefs, and platform guidelines
• Collaborate closely with producers, designers, copywriters, and account teams
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight timelines
• Perform basic color correction and audio cleanup
• Adapt long-form content into short-form formats for platforms like Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.
• Stay updated on editing trends, formats, and platform best practices.

Required Skills & Tools

• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro / Final Cut Pro / DaVinci Resolve
• Working knowledge of After Effects (basic motion graphics is a plus)
• Strong sense of timing, pacing, and visual storytelling
• Understanding of different video formats and aspect ratios
• Attention to detail and ability to take feedback constructively

Qualifications

• 24 years of experience in video editing (agency or brand experience preferred)
• A strong portfolio/showreel demonstrating editing skills
• Degree or diploma in media, film, design, or related field (preferred but not mandatory)
