Role Summary

Were looking for a highly creative Content Creator with 23 years of experience in filmmaking, video editing, and storytelling for digital platforms. In this role, youll ideate, script, shoot, and edit engaging videos that resonate across platforms like Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn. Youll collaborate closely with our marketing and design teams to create videos that not only look great but also perform sparking engagement, shares, and action.

This role demands strong storytelling instincts, platform-native thinking, and a hands-on approach to video production from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

Concept Development: Collaborate with teams to brainstorm video ideas aligned with campaigns and social trends.

Storyboarding & Scripting: Translate ideas into clear scripts, storyboards, and shot lists with platform-fit narratives.

Shooting: Capture high-quality content using a smartphone or DSLR, handling lighting, framing, and audio independently or with minimal crew.

Video Editing: Edit content using tools like Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, or CapCut with strong command over pacing, music sync, and transitions.

Motion Graphics: Add titles, animated text, lower thirds, and graphic overlays suitable for short-form content.

Platform Optimization: Tailor content for various formats (vertical, square, landscape), ensuring it performs well on each platform.

Trend Utilization: Spot and creatively adapt emerging content trends to build brand visibility and relevance.

Post-Production & Delivery: Ensure final videos are clean, polished, subtitled (if needed), and exported in the right specs for Instagram, YouTube, and other platforms.

Content Performance: Analyze engagement metrics and iterate on content ideas to improve performance over time.

Agile Production: Shoot and edit with quick turnarounds while maintaining brand tone and production quality.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Experience: 23 years of experience in content creation, short-form video production, or social media storytelling.

Filmmaking: Hands-on experience with end-to-end production from scripting to final export.

Editing Tools: Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut, After Effects, CapCut, or equivalent software.

Platform Fluency: Strong understanding of what works on Reels, Shorts, and YouTube (hooks, retention tactics, CTAs).

Portfolio: A showcase of past work with a mix of brand campaigns, trend content, and storytelling pieces preferably with engagement metrics or performance context.

Creative Thinking: A strong visual sense, storytelling instinct, and original ideation capability.

Time Management: Able to juggle multiple projects, deliver on tight timelines, and iterate based on feedback.

Collaboration : Excellent communication and ability to work with designers, marketers, and strategists.

Preferred Skills

Experience working in D2C, real estate, or startup marketing environments.

Demonstrated viral content with proof of performance (views, saves, shares, comments).

Proficiency in Canva, Photoshop, or other design tools for thumbnails and quick graphics.

Familiarity with analytics tools or social platform dashboards.

Ability to self-shoot, light, and record in resource-constrained settings.

A personal content presence or side project (e.g., YouTube channel, Instagram Reels).
