Vice President – Quality Control CDD (India)

We are hiring the first member of our India Quality Control CDD team as Vice President. You will conduct quality reviews of due diligence for new & existing UK & US Lending and Business Banking clients, while providing QC oversight on Onboarding, Ongoing Monitoring, and Fraud & AML Transaction Monitoring.

As the team grows, you will have the opportunity to take on line management, training, and leadership responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct independent QA reviews for UK & US clients at speed
• Perform QC on PEP, Sanctions & Adverse Media screening and escalate true hits
• Review Fraud & AML Transaction Monitoring alerts and investigation outcomes
• Support UK QC team and collaborate with stakeholders for Customer Delight
• Identify process improvements and support change initiatives
• As team expands: Train, mentor, line manage India QC team, track KPIs/KRIs, and handle cases end-to-end

Required Experience:

• Minimum 10 years in financial services (ideally commercial lending/banking)
• Strong knowledge of UK & US AML/KYC/CDD/EDD and financial crime frameworks
• Ability to calculate ownership percentages and identify beneficial owners in complex structures
• Experience analysing financial statements and conducting investigations
• Good understanding of AFTE, FATCA/CRS, Consumer Duty, and GDPR
