Job Description
Job Objective
We are seeking a seasoned leader to develop and implement an overall Project Execution Strategy. The successful candidate will ensure the timely completion of large-scale projects while adhering to the highest standards of cost, quality, and engineering efficiency. You will be responsible for driving long-term value through process improvements, value engineering, and the adoption of cutting-edge construction technologies.
Core Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Provide functional guidance to standardize project execution practices across the organization.
- Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the Projects Department.
- Establish a Knowledge Management Framework to share best practices and key learnings across all sites.
- Lead the development of robust reporting and MIS frameworks for top management.
Operational Excellence
- Collaborate with senior leadership to develop project management frameworks, including resource allocation and planning for large-scale developments.
- Drive project implementation within optimum turnaround times and set rigorous cost-saving targets.
- Ensure the implementation of high-standard Quality Assurance (QA) and HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) policies.
- Lead the empanelment and evaluation of consultants, vendors, and contractors.
- Conduct periodic audits to ensure compliance with ISO standards and other quality/safety benchmarks.
Financial & People Management
- Drive profitability through value engineering and effective project management practices.
- Develop and monitor department and project budgets to ensure financial discipline.
- Coordinate with the Finance Department to manage working capital and ensure timely payments.
- Lead the Engineering team, overseeing recruitment, performance reviews, and succession planning.
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous learning within the team.
What We Are Looking For
- Education: BE (Civil) / M.Tech; a Management degree is highly preferred.
- Experience: Min 1820 years of relevant industry experience.
- Expertise: Proven track record of managing large-scale and mixed-use developments, including high-rise residential, commercial, hospitality, townships, and villa complexes.
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of construction technology, tools, software, and the regulatory frameworks applicable to real estate projects.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills, a passion for excellence, and strong team leadership abilities.
