Position Title: Vice President - PR (Corporate)

Position Reports To: Managing Director - PR

Experience Range: 20+ Years


Overview:


The Vice President will be responsible for providing leadership and implementing strategy for Corporate practice and client base. The role will reside within an agency specific team and will partner with senior leadership to manage initiatives, budgets and drive new efforts to grow the PR, marketing, and communications business.



Job Functions -

  • Lead the development and implementation of strategies across several of top Corporate clients.
  • Provide strategic counsel for clients and executives within the Corporate landscape including but not limited to social media, paid media, content marketing, measurement.
  • Partners with the Managing Director to develop and manage cross-platform/cross-channel initiatives responsible for the overall success of our clients marketing, communications, and business goals.
  • Manage P&L of Corporate practice to help drive business planning, budgeting, and forecasting in conjunction with sector teams while remaining actively involved in aspects of account profitability, health, client service, billing, and team success.
  • Collaborate and work closely with our support teams to develop comprehensive measurement and tracking plans to measure performance in order to identify key audience and brand trends.
  • Works to drive new business efforts in partnership with Business Development, Account and Integrated Services leads to grow the agencys marketing and communications business.
  • Oversee and manage components of campaign development, implementation, and measurement while ensuring communications and campaign impact is monitored, measured, and adjusted for optimal ROI and successful programs for clients.
  • Focus on attraction, development, and retention of staff; help lead educational and skills-based training efforts across the assigned office and client servicing teams.


Preferred Competencies -


  • Bachelors degree in Marketing/Communications, or similarly applicable field is required; Masters degree is highly preferred.
  • 20+ years of marketing and communications experience required with applicable project/program management experience.
  • Minimum of 7+ years of experience in leading and management of a diverse team.
  • Proven success in establishing relationships, being a high bandwidth communicator, with a track record of excellent collaboration
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience of working with large teams.
