Vice President of Technology

Role Overview

This role drives the technical vision for a high-growth B2B SaaS platform, focusing on multi-tenant architecture, microservices, and integrations.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect cloud-native platforms using AWS/GCP, Kubernetes, and event-driven systems to handle 10x data/user scale.
• Define technology roadmaps aligning with product goals, including API ecosystems, enterprise integrations (CRM, HRMS, SSO), and data/AI foundations.
• Lead migrations to modern stacks, enforce security (SOC 2, GDPR), and optimize performance for sub-second latency.
• Mentor 20-50 engineers, establish DevOps/CI/CD practices, and foster agile processes for predictable delivery.
• Collaborate with product/sales to enable customer-centric features like configurable workflows and analytics.

Required Experience

Candidates need 15 to 25 years in SaaS/enterprise tech, with 7+ years in architecture leadership for B2B platforms. Proven track record scaling multi-tenant systems, handling complex data models, and driving cost/reliability improvements in startups.

Tech Stack

• Backend: Node.js/Java/Kotlin, GraphQL/REST APIs, microservices.
• Frontend: React/Next.js for responsive UIs.
• Data/Infrastructure: PostgreSQL/MongoDB/ClickHouse, Redis, Docker/Kubernetes, Terraform.
• Cloud/DevOps: AWS/GCP, CI/CD pipelines, observability tools.
