Co-Lead Equity Research Analyst (Chemicals)

Role Overview: We are seeking a Co-Lead Research Analyst to co-anchor our Chemical Sector desk. This role is responsible for generating "Alpha" through differentiated investment ideas for our institutional and HNI clients. You will share the leadership of a dedicated team of associates to maintain coverage on 1520 mid and large-cap chemical companies, delivering actionable intelligence in a fast-paced market environment.

Key Responsibilities (Broking/Equity Research Focus)

Investment Thesis Generation: Identify non-consensus "Buy/Sell/Hold" opportunities by analyzing earnings quality, capex cycles, and industry tailwinds.

Co-Leadership of Coverage: Share the responsibility for a comprehensive coverage universe, alternating between Commodity Chemicals (Petrochemicals, Fertilizers) and Specialty/Fine Chemicals (Agro-chem, API, Fluorochemicals).

Corporate Access: Lead "Analyst Meets" and management plant visits to gauge operational efficiency and management integrity.

Financial Modeling: Oversee the construction of complex, 3-statement financial models, emphasizing DCF valuations and relative P/E benchmarking.

Client Engagement: Pitch high-conviction ideas to Portfolio Managers (Buy-side) and institutional investors through roadshows and con-calls.

Quarterly Earnings Management: Spearhead the intense "Earnings Season" workflowdelivering instant "First Cut" notes and detailed result updates within hours of data release.
