Vice President of Analytics (BFSI)

Role Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned VP Analytics to lead advanced analytics initiatives across credit risk, scorecard development, and fraud analytics. The role will drive data-driven decision-making, build predictive models, and strengthen risk and fraud management frameworks for the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of credit risk scorecards (application, behavioral, and collection scorecards).
• Build and manage fraud detection and prevention analytics models using advanced statistical and machine learning techniques.
• Drive risk strategy analytics including portfolio monitoring, early warning signals, and policy optimization.
• Collaborate with business, risk, and technology teams to embed analytics into credit decisioning and fraud monitoring systems.
• Lead a high-performing data science and analytics team, ensuring best practices in modeling, validation, and governance.
• Develop and implement predictive models to enhance customer risk assessment and fraud detection capabilities.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and model governance frameworks.
• Communicate insights and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and business stakeholders.

Key Requirements:

• 15+ years of experience in Analytics, with strong exposure to Risk Analytics, Scorecard Development, and Fraud Analytics.
• Strong expertise in statistical modeling, machine learning, and predictive analytics.
• Hands-on experience with tools such as SAS, Python, R, SQL, or similar analytics platforms.
• Proven experience in credit risk modeling, fraud strategy, and portfolio analytics.
• Strong leadership experience managing large analytics teams and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Experience in Banking, Fintech, NBFC, or Financial Services preferred.
