As Vice President - Legal (Secured Assets), you will lead the legal strategy for secured lending products. You will be part of the central legal leadership team, partnering closely with business, credit risk, and product teams to ensure robust product structuring, enforceable security frameworks, and comp

What you will do

• Lead legal strategy and advisory for secured lending products (LAP, Home Loans, and other collateral-backed offerings).
• Provide legal inputs on product structuring, security creation, documentation architecture, and risk mitigation.
• Review and institutionalize SOPs, processes, and control frameworks across the secured assets lifecycle.
• Oversee drafting, vetting, and standardisation of loan agreements, security documents, and partner/vendor contracts.
• Work closely with product, credit risk, collections, and operations teams to ensure legal robustness at scale.
• Manage external counsel and drive effective legal outcomes on secured asset matters where required.

What you will need

• A minimum of 812 years of relevant legal experience working with banks, with strong exposure to secured lending (LAP, Home Loans, mortgages, collateral-backed products).
• Deep understanding of security creation, enforcement mechanisms, and lending documentation.
• Strong commercial judgement with the ability to balance growth and risk.
• Experience in building or scaling legal processes and frameworks.
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment with high ownership.
